THE WET WEST COAST (AWESOME)

Typical of the many beautiful secondary West Coast Roads we travelled on.

Raewyn surrounded by the spray from Thunder Falls.

Sunrise at Jackson Bay.

Clearwater Creek, from left Fox Glacier, Mt Tasman, & Mt Cook

Wednesday nights park over posse at Clearwater Creek.

As close as we could get to the Fox Glacier due to the paths being washed out.

A tepee and toasted marshmallows at Okarito.

Typical of one of the several short forest walks we took.

The climax of the White Heron Sanctuary Tour.

Raewyn (centre) heading off for the face of the Franz Josef Glacier.

A guided party on the Franz Josef Glacier.

A rewarding finale to the Monteiths Brewery Tour.

The Little Earth Model Village, 1/12 scale 1930's Waiuta.

The famous Blackball Hilton Hotel. We did not go in for a beer as we were all beered out after the Monteiths Brewery Tour

The Tranz Alpine Express entering the 8.5k, 1 to 33 gradient Otira Tunnel at Arthurs Pass.

Hi Campervan Stan

Great photos, thanks for sharing. The white heron trip is one we have on our bucket list, can you advise when the birds are nesting?

Thanks
